Fifty Heads of Illegally Transported Cattle Rescued by Jagiroad Police

Fifty illegally transported cattle were rescued on Saturday by Jagiroad police. Sources said that the cattle were carried in a truck bearing registration number AS02 BC 6612 from Nagaon to Meghalaya through NH-37.

JAGIROAD: Fifty illegally transported cattle were rescued on Saturday by Jagiroad police. Sources said that the cattle were carried in a truck bearing registration number AS02 BC 6612 from Nagaon to Meghalaya through NH-37. Police rescued the cattle and seized the truck. However, the driver and the handyman of the truck are reportedly absconding. Police investigation is on.
