Final Photo Electoral Roll 2023 published across Assam

LAKHIMPUR: The Final Photo Electoral Roll, 2023 for the four assembly constituencies under Lakhimpur district was published on Friday along with the rest of the nation. According to data issued by the Election Office, the total number of voters covering the four LACs of the district is now 8,09,272. Out of this number, 4,05,334 are male voters and 4,03,938 are female voters. This marks an increase of 6537 voters in the three LACs in comparison to the Draft Integrated Photo Electoral Roll which was published on November 9, 2022.

To publish the Final Photo Electoral Roll, 2023 for the three assembly constituencies under Lakhimpur Election District, covering North Lakhimpur Subdivision, a meeting with the political parties was organized in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner's Office under the auspices of the District Election Officer's Office. ADC Geetalee Duworah, who is in election charge of the district, presided over the meeting which was held under the management of Election Officer Mostafa Salim Ahmed. In that meeting, final Photo Electoral Roll was published for No. 109 Bihpuria LAC, No. 110 Naoboicha LAC and No. 111 Lakhimpur LAC.

A total of 1,56,373 voters are registered in Bihpuria LAC, out of which 78,480 are male voters and 77,896 are female voters. Highest number of voters are registered in religious minority stricken Naoboicha LAC, where the number of total voter is 2,39,697. Out of this number, 1,20,070 are male voters, 1,19627 are female voters. In Lakhimpur LAC, the number of total voter is 1,95,515, out of which 97,614 are male voters and 97,901 are female voters.

On the same day, the Dhakuakhana subdivisional administration also published the Final Photo Electoral Roll, 2023 for No. 112 Dhakuakhana LAC. A total of 2,17,684 voters are registered in Dhakuakhana LAC, out of which 1,09,170 are male voters and 1,08,514 are female voters.

Goalpara: The Goalpara district election officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Khanindra Choudhury in presence of election officer Ranjumoni Dutta has published the final electoral roll of voters in the district on Friday. The district has a total of 798118 voters. A total of 6158 voters have increased in the final roll in comparison to the draft electoral roll published back in November 2022.

According to the final publication, the 36, Dudhnoi ST constituency has 214440, the 37, Goalpara East has 231147, the 38, Goalpara West has 182935 and the 39, Jaleswar has 169569 number of voters. The final publication was attended by Ranjit Konwar, ADC, Pranab Kr. Das, DIPRO, different political party representatives and media persons.
