Fire mishap in Tumpreng market, property worth over Rs 10 lakh gutted

DONGKAMUKAM: Fire gutted Tumpreng market on Wednesday morning at 3:30 am. Tumpreng is a busy market and the gateway to West Karbi Anglong. Locals informed that the cause of fire was due to electric short circuit and property worth over Rs 10 lakh was gutted. Six shops were reduced to ashes within a few hours.
