Fire Service Week of Airports Authority of India observed at Northeast Regional Headquarters, Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The fire service week of the Airports Authority of India that started on April 14 concluded on Thursday. The personnel of the Aerodrome Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) team demonstrated various firefighting skills and the use of different equipment to fight fire incidents during the week.

At Northeast Regional Headquarters, Guwahati, a drawing competition was held for the children of AAI employees. Prizes were distributed to the winners and participants in different categories. Congratulating the winners, Sanmukh Jugani, Regional Executive Director, and AAI said that we are happy to see juveniles participating in these competitions and sweeping prizes.

General Managers, heads of departments, and firefighting personnel were also present on the occasion and appreciated the small but beautiful words from the children.

All equally lauded the efforts and contributions made by the Aerodrome Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) team in protecting airport property and stakeholders and paid homage to the brave fire fighters, stated a press release.
