Five COVID-19 positive cases detected in Dhekiajuli

DHEKIAJULI: Total five COVID-19 positive cases were detected in Dhekiajuli Revenue Circle area. One was from Garubasti under Sirajuli, one case from Keherukhanda Pather, Dhekiajuli, two from 1 No. Suryapur, Dhekiajuli and one from Narayanpur Tea Estate, Dhekiajuli.

Out of these, four patients have been shifted to the COVID-19 Care Centre, Tezpur. Under the NRHM, COVID-19 test, RAT test and RTPCR tests were conducted in different health centres of Dhekiajuli subdivision on Tuesday. As per information by data manager, NRHM, Dhekiajuli Circle, Moinul Hoque, on Tuesday the number of RAT tests done was 1,565, and number of RT PCR tests done was 27. On the other hand, as per the new SOP guidelines which were issued by the Government of Assam on Tuesday, all the business establishments and shops of greater Dhekiajuli Revenue Circle area were shut down in the evening.

But the ongoing Dhekiajuli Central Rongali Bihu Sanmilon's concluding day programme continued and people gathered at the Bihu celebration site to enjoy noted singer Diplina Deka's cultural programme on Tuesday evening.
