TINSUKIA: Deeply moved by the plight of children living in the Baghjan relief camps, the members of Nespim's Tinsukia Child Line-Aditi Patowari, Jurina Phukan, Anita Payeng, Abhijit Chutia and Purushttam Gohain -provided food stuff and other items on Friday while Nani Gopal Dutta and Mukanda Borah representing Sadiya Child Line of Surjyadaya distributed water filters and masks as there was acute scarcity of potable water in the relief camps.

According to Akhil Baruah, director of Surjyadaya, more than a thousand children languishing in several relief camps set up jointly by Tinsukia district administration and OIL were in a pitiable state.
