LAKHIMPUR: Manoj Sandi, former State general secretary of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Marcha (BJYM), the brother organization of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) quitted the political party. He declared it in a press meet convened at North Lakhimpur Press Club on Sunday. Manoj Sandi declared that he had quitted the party because of loss of trust and faith upon the BJP leaders. He alleged that the old and original BJP activists were not important to the high-level party leaders at present. He also alleged that Minister Naba Kumar Doley paid no importance to the old party activists. According to him, thousands of party activists will quit BJP in March. Notably, Manoj Sandi also served as the secretary and president of Lakhimpur district unit of BJYM and as president of the district unit of Vishva Hindu Parishad.
