Former Principal of Dibrugarh H.S.Kanoi College Shiva Dutta Passes Away

DIBRUGARH: Former Principal of Dibrugarh H.S.Kanoi College, noted educationist Dr Shiva Dutta died in COVID on May 19. He was under COVID treatment from last one week. Born in Itakhola village under Lahowal LAC. Dr Dutta started his primary education Modarkhat Sitaram Chowkhani M.E. School and obtained his graduation from Kanoi College and later after postgraduation he joined as professor of Political Science department. Dr Dutta became the principal of the college on June 1, 1997.

A resident of Boiragimath, Dr Dutta is survived by his wife, a retired professor, one son, two daughters, besides many admirers. Several organizations including students and faculties of D.H.S. Kanoi college condoled Dr Dutta's death and conveyed their heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family.
