Former Tangla Municipal Board vice-chairman Sanjay Sen joins UPPL

TANGLA: Continuing the trend of various student body leaders joining UPPL, the former vice-chairman of Tangla Municipal Board (TMB), Sanjay Sen, who was miffed over his removal from the coveted post, joined the United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) in Tangla town in Udalguri district on Saturday evening .

Sen said that he had joined the Pramod Boro-led UPPL to work for the people and society and said that he was hopeful that UPPL would form the next government in the BTC council. He also said that every community of the Bodo belt could be stakeholder in development by joining UPPL. He added that he would ensure that UPPL candidates win in the 10 BTC constituencies with landslide majority.
