Foundation day of Sadou Asom Kabi Sanmilan observed in Tinsukia

TINSUKIA: Tinsukia Zilla Kabi Sanmilan observed the 35th foundation day of Sadou Asom Kabi Sanmilan (All Assam Poets' Association) at Padmanath Gohain Baruah Bhawan, Tinsukia on Monday. Established on September 6, 1987 at Namrup in Dibrugarh district by few eminent poets, the Sanmilan over the years has become a literary institution in the State. Due to on-going pandemic, the programme was held with participation of selected poets. Among those who recited the poems were Dr Nilakhshi Chaliha Gogoi, Arunima Handique, Ashwini Prasad Gogoi, Kamini Kumar Gohain, Ranadeep Duara, Ratan Sadiyal, Nikunja Mahanta Chutia and Suren Baruah.
