Foundation of Doomdooma Press Club (DPC) building laid by Prasanta Borkakoty

DOOMDOOMA: The foundation stone of the proposed new building of Doomdooma Press Club (DPC) was laid by Prasanta Borkakoty, former Resident Chief Executive of Oil India Limited (OIL), Duliajan at a brief function held at its premises on Sunday. Oil India Ltd. sanctioned Rs 15 lakh under its CSR Projects for the construction of the new building of Doomdooma Press Club (DPC). On this occasion, Borkakoty, who hails from Doomdooma and was superannuated from service on May 31, was accorded a farewell felicitation by DPC. The programme was attended by chairperson, Doomdooma Municipal Board, Kanta Bhattacharyya, president of DPC, Anuj Kalita, and other dignitaries.
