KOKRAJHAR: The chairman of the Kajalgaon Town Development, as well as former speaker of the BTC, Paniram Brahma, laid of the foundation stone of Swrang Guest House-cum-Hostel of the National Boro Christian Council (NBCC) on Saturday at Kajalgaon in Chirang district. Representatives of 14 denominational churches of the NBCC and recently formed West Bengal NBCC were present in the function.
Benzjlaigra Moshahary, president of National Boro Christian Council (NBCC) said, “The National Boro Christian Council (NBCC) was looking for a plot of land for construction of guest house-cum-hostel as well as for head office of NBCC since many years. Recently we approached BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary and submitted a letter for allotment of land for NBCC.” He said that BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary accepted their request and allotted a plot of land for construction of guest house-cum-hostel as well as head office of NBCC at Kajalgaon in Chirang district where the foundation tone laying-ceremony was held recently.
Paniram Brahma, chairman of the Kajalgaon Town Development of Chirang said, “I will discuss with BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary and minister Chandan Brahma and this guest house and hostel will be constructed successfully for the benefit of the people, students and the community as a whole.”
