Foundation stone of two water supply schemes laid in Sivasagar

SIVASAGAR: Foundation stone of two drinking water projects, initiated by Public Health Engineering Department under central government's flagship scheme Jal Jeevan Mission, were laid in Sivasagar on Friday. The two drinking water projects are Mogonagaon Water Supply Scheme and Akhoiphutia Water Supply Scheme.

Speaking on the occasion, Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner Megha Nidhi Dahal congratulated all the people under this scheme and urged everyone to understand the need for the scheme and cooperate sincerely and actively for its successful implementation. Additional Deputy Commissioner Karmadev Brahma, Chief Executive Officer of Sivasagar Zila Parishad Aswini Kumar Doley and other officers and employees of the department were present on the occasion. The program was moderated by Bibhuti Chetia, Junior Engineer of the PHE department.
