Four bags of cannabis seized along Indo- Bhutan border

UDALGURI: Jawans of the 23rd battalion SSB patrolling along the Indo- Bhutan border seized four bags of cannabis from a Maruti Suzuki car bearing number AS-25 EC/7624 and handed over the cannabis and the car to the Balemu police of Arunachal Pradesh. The operation was led by assistant commandant Ravi Singh. The commandant of 23rd battalion Lalpool stated that the SSB personnel are keeping vigil in the bordering areas to stop illegal activities and they are containing the smuggling of cannabis from the area.
