Four drug peddlers arrested with 6.8 grams of suspected heroin in Chaygaon

PALASBARI: Based on tip-off, Kapil Pathak, officer-in-charge of Chaygaon police station, and his team laid a trap at Chaygaon on Wednesday afternoon and arrested four drug peddlers.

The team seized around 6.8 grams of suspected heroin from their possession. The drug peddlers were identified as Nilanjan Choudhury (27) of Rampur village under Palasbari constituency, Muktadul Amin (22) of Dhekebabari, Maznur Ali (21) of Dhekebabari, and Eliash Ali (23) of Dhekebabari under Chaygaon constituency. Two bikes and cash Rs 16,000 were also seized. In this regard, a case has been registered at the Chaygaon Police Station.
