RANGIA: A joint team of Subdivisional administration, police and Enforcement led by Rahul P. Gogoi, Executive Officer of Rangia Municipal Board and Executive Magistrate Rangia, seized four dumpers and tractors from near the Bhutan bus stand on Monday.

Speeding dumpers and tractors are regularly cutting and carrying earth in an illegal manner without possessing any valid document. Moreover, it is also alleged that the dumpers and tractors plying in Rangia town do not have number plate and valid registration number. Most of the drivers are also under age and do not have valid license. They were caught in the Bhutan bus stand area on Monday.

The joint team has been constituted by Swapneel Paul, SDO (Civil), Rangia for bringing to book the tractors and dumpers operating illegally within the town without any valid documents and proper license of most of the drivers. People of Rangia town have appealed to the SDO Civil to control the illegal dumpers and tractors which are one of the main causes of road mishaps in the area.
