Four fresh COVID cases in Hailakandi

HAILAKANDI: Hailakandi reported four fresh COVID-19 cases on Friday, pushing the coronavirus tally in the district to 3,409.

With these new cases, the district has altogether 27 active COVID-19 cases while 3,359 patients have been discharged after being cured. Seven patients are presently undergoing treatment at SK Roy Civil Hospital, one at Silchar Medical College and Hospital and 19 kept under home isolation. Altogether 1,72,582 samples for COVID-19 have been tested so far, including 1024 samples taken in the last 24 hours. The district has accounted for nine COVID deaths.
