BOKO: Four persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Boko LAC on Tuesday. Their swab samples were collected under the Assam Targeted Surveillance Program (ATSP). Abhijit Roy (35), a shopkeeper from Boko, and his neighbour Prasanna Adhikary (55) tested positive. The administration immediately declared the shopping complex and their houses as containment zone for 14 days. On the other hand, police personnel from Mandira Police OP, Ancharul Haque Laskar (45) and Khairul Haque (45), driver of Nagarbera PS also tested positive. Nagarbera Primary Hospital took their swab samples on June 24. The four persons were admitted in the Patanjali COVID Care Centre in Palashbari for treatment. According to the health department sources, they have no travel history.
