Four trucks carrying sand, stone seized by a special operation team of Sonitpur West Forest Division

Tezpur: A special operation team of Sonitpur West Forest Division personnel of Tezpur Sadar range seized four trucks laden with stone and sand. Official sources said that the trucks were seized (AS 12BC 0250, AS 12AC 9923, AS12 AC 9924, AS12 AC 9909) from Bhumuraguri, Parua Chariali in Sonitpur district for violation of Assam Minor Mineral Rule, 2013 of the forest department and these trucks were running without valid TP and challan for supplying minor minerals. Tezpur Sadar Range officer said that the operation against illegal mining would continue in Sonitpur district.
