Free dental camp held at Pathsala of Bajali subdivision

PATHSALA: A free health camp was organized at Pathsala of Bajali subdivision.

Bhanita Medhi, a social worker of Bajali, led the camp which benefited around 300 poor and needy people.

The main objective of the camp was to educate and to create awareness among the people about basic dental/oral health and hygiene. After completion of the check-up, free toothpaste and medicines were distributed among the people.

Speaking in connection with the event, Bhanita Medhi expressed concern over dental problems surfacing among children because of their love for eating chocolates and ice-cream. Laying emphasis on parents' role, she said that parents need to keep a watchful eye on children while they are brushing. In fact, they should teach them how to brush their teeth, she said.
