Free eye screening camp organized by Lions Club of Duliajan

DIBRUGARH: Lions Club of Duliajan organized a free eye screening camp having cataract problem for the underprivileged section of people of in and around Duliajan on Saturday at Oil India Workers Union auditorium. Doctor Santanu Lahkar graced the occasion and inaugurated the camp with his valuable talk. Doctors from Lion K K Saharia Hospital, Dibrugarh and OIL India Hospital, Duliajan screened the patients. A total of 93 patients from various parts of Dibrugarh and Tinsukia districts were screened in the camp and were distributed free medicines as per requirements. Out of 93 patients 17 have been found to have cataract problems. All the 17 patients having cataract issue were taken to Lion K K Saharia Hospital, Dibrugarh for operation.
