Frequent power cut irks people in Assam's Jagiroad

JAGIROAD: The most erratic power supply at Jagiroad has caused immense trouble to the consumers here. Power cuts in a number of times from dawn to dusk have caused resentment among the people. The students and petty business community have been facing acute hardship following such irregular power supply. People alleged that when the APDCL is digitalizing all its systems particularly in connection with consumer billing etc. then why not the company initiate uninterrupted power supply to its customers. The company should also look into matters like dealing with its consumers by the officials. They should mind their business with sincerity and honesty. The local people also called upon the authority concerned to maintain hygienic environment around its colony at Jagiroad so that the inhabitants can live a healthy life. It is learnt that the surroundings of the staff colony of the APDCL, Jagiroad is quiet unhealthy and no officer takes care of it as all of them stay out side the staff colony.
