Freshers’ social held at Naduar Senior Secondary School, Sonitpur

JAMUGURIHAT: The newly-established multifaceted academic institution, Naduar Senior Secondary School of Choibari, Sonitpur had organized a grand Freshers’ Meet on Friday to welcome the new batch of HS 1st Year.

The programme was convened by the students of HS 2nd year. Former Principal of THB College, Jamugurihat, Sahabuddin Ahamed, who is the president of NSSS managing committee, was present as the guest of honour. Ahamed addressed the students and made a humble deliberation to the students to pass the HS finals with flying colours and bring fame to the institution and make their parents proud. The students and teachers of the institution enthralled all the guests with their dancing and singing skills thereafter.

The secretary of NSSS managing committee-cum-Headmaster of Blue Pine English School, Shibu Majumdar was also present at the meet. Majumdar presented a dynamic speech where he welcomed the newcomers and then talked about greater prospects for the students to shape themselves to be able to provide employment to other unemployed sections rather than hankering after government and private jobs.

The Vice-Principal-cum-PGT of English, Rajib Goutam also addressed the students on behalf of all the teachers and stressed the importance of being humans first. Nayan Jyoti was chosen as Mr Fresher while Lucky Oli won the title of Miss Fresher.
