Gadkari to lay the foundation stone for multi-modal logistics park in Assam

Guwahati: In a yet new development, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will lay the foundation stone for India's first multi-modal logistics park in Assam. Developed under the ambitious Bharatmala Pariyojna, this project will be constructed with an estimated amount of Rs. 693.97 crores.

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari will virtually lay the foundation stone on Tuesday. The Ministry of Road Transport informed about the same through a statement on Monday.

The multi-modal logistic park aims to provide direct connectivity through road, rail, air, and waterways to the people.

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will preside the event, and Union Ministers Jitendra Singh, V K Singh and other officials from the Centre and state will attend the event.
