Gaon Panchayats under Jorhat district call to make Janata Curfew a success

JORHAT: Members of the 51 Gaon Panchayats under Jorhat district took out an awareness rally to make the ‘Janata Curfew’ called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from 7 am to 9 pm of March 22 a grand success. The awareness rally was led by Diganta Bhuyan, the president of No. 51 Gaon Panchayat under Baghchung block, on Saturday. Vehicles covered with banners and posters went through the main thoroughfares of the remote villages and made people aware of the dreaded coronavirus and how to take precautionary measures.
