Gauhati University (GU) Postpones 6th Semester Exam Due to Assam Flood

GUWAHATI: The Gauhati University (GU) authorities have decided to postpone the sixth-semester examination due to the flood situation in Assam.

The examination which was earlier scheduled to be held on June 25 will now be conducted from June 29.

Earlier, in view of the adverse flood situation and consequent disruption of power and water supply in various areas, the Gauhati University has deferred all Post-Graduate (PG) examinations under the university and its affiliated colleges, including GUIST and I Com examinations, which were scheduled to be held on June 21 and June 22.

The remaining examinations will continue as scheduled, a notification issued by the Controller of Examinations of Gauhati University stated.
