GC College gets new GB president Sajalendu Das Laskar

SILCHAR: Former Assam Public Service Commission member Professor Sajalendu Das Laskar is the new president of the Governing Body (GB) of G C College. Director of Higher Education Dharmakanta Mili on Saturday appointed Das Laskar as the GB president of the premier institute. Erstwhile president Jyotilal Chowdhury died earlier this year. Sajalendu Das Laskar retired as the head of the mathematics department of Cachar College in 2019. Prior to his retirement the erstwhile Sarbananda Sonowal government appointed him as APSC member.
