Goalpara: The Goalpara district administration has promulgated Section 144 CrPC prior to the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination scheduled to begin from February 10. Malafide intention to indulge in unfair means, apprehension of unlawful interference, disturbance in the smooth conduct of the examination, the possibility of causing obstruction, annoyance, and injuries to any person lawfully employed for the examination purpose has been shown as the cause of imposing the restriction order. Padum Bahadur Chetri, an additional district magistrate, has further restricted entry of unauthorized persons or unnecessary crowd around the examination centers, carrying electronic gadgets by the examinees and assisting students in any form by the invigilators. About ten thousand HSLC and fifteen hundred high madrassa students will appear for the class ten examination this year from the Goalpara district.
