Goalpara district Xahitya Xabha felicitated APSC achiever Iftikhar Hussain

Goalpara: Iftikhar Hussain, the eight position holder in the recently declared Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) exam, was felicitated on Sunday by the Sahityarothi chapter of Goalpara district Xahitya Xabha.

In this regard, a meeting was arranged at the Ababil Model School situated at Helapakhiri Forest Gate which was presided over by Keramat Ali Sheikh, eminent teacher and litterateur.

Accepting the felicitation, Iftikhar Hussain encouraged students to study hard and try to achieve their goals with a dedicated mind. "There is no substitute to hard labour for success," said the achiever and shared his study routine for this competitive examination. At least five students have cleared the APSC exam this time from Goalpara district.

Several eminent personalities like senior advocate Jiten Das, academician Jafar Ali Ahmed, Sojimuddin Ahmed and social worker Anower Hussain also attended and delivered lectures in the function.

Organizations like Sankhyaloghu Sangram Parishad feted Iftikhar Hussain on the same platform. Hussain Ahmed Madani, central committee organizational secretary of the organization, was present on the occasion.
