Golaghat DC Bibhash Chandra Modi orders depositing licenced arms

GOLAGHAT: In view of ensuing the Legislative Assembly Election 2021 within Golaghat district, the District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner of Golaghat, Bibhash Chandra Modi issued an order on Saturday to licensed arms holders to deposit their arms in their nearby police stations within three days of issuance of the order. Any such licensee failing to do the same within the stipulated date will be liable to be prosecuted under the relevant provisions of law.
