GOLAGHAT: Haridra Bora, Rajdeep Baruah and Niharika Bharali brought laurels to Golaghat district by securing 6th and 9th position in the HSLC examination, 2020.

Haridra Bora is a student of Sacred Heart School and she secured 6th rank. Rajdeep Baruah is a student of Sankardev Sishu Niketan, Kakadunga and Niharika Bharali of Golaghat Jatiya Vidyalaya. They both grabbed the 9th position.

Talking to this correspondent, Haridra Bora said that she used to study regularly. She also likes listening to music and singing. She wants to be an environmentalist and work for the conservation of nature. Haridra Bora is the daughter of Rubul Bora, who is a lecturer in CNB College, Bokakhat, and Madhusmita Saikia Bora. They reside in Bengenakhowa in Golaghat town. She obtained 588 marks out of 600.

Niharika Bharali of Golaghat Jatiya Vidyalaya got 9th rank in the HSLC exam with total marks of 585 marks. She is the daughter of Life Insurance Corporation official Mahendra Bharali and Jaya Neog. She wants to become a doctor. Rajdeep Baruah from Sankardev Sishu Niketan, Kakodunga also secured 9th rank. His dream is to become an engineer. The overall percentage of Golaghat district is 62.84 per cent.
