Golaghat Excise department continue raids against illicit liquor in district

GOLAGHAT: Golaghat Excise department has continued raids against illicit liquor in the Golaghat district. Under the direction of Excise Superintendent of Golaghat, Sanjib Saikia, a massive operation was carried out against illegal alcohol in Ultajan, Choriakhat, Murphulani and Rangajan area in Golaghat district on Monday. As per reports, Excise Inspector (Sadar) Niranjan Das and his team conducted raids in rural areas. During the raid, around 1400 litres of illicit fermented wash seized and 50 litres of distilled liquor were destroyed. Excise Inspector (Sadar) Niranjan Das said that raids would continue against illicit liquor in Golaghat district.
