Golden Jubilee celebration of Lakhimpur Commerce College to held soon

LAKHIMPUR: A public meeting was held at Lakhimpur Commerce College on Saturday to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the college. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Mukunda Rajbanshi, president of the Golden Jubilee Celebration Committee of Lakhimpur Commerce College. The objective of the meeting was explained by Dr. Lohit Hazarika, Principal of the college and secretary of the Golden Jubilee Celebration Committee. In the meeting a total of 23 sub-committees were formed in order to celebrate the golden jubilee in a grand manner. The Golden Jubilee Contribution Tickets were also launched at the meeting. The first ticket worth Rs 1 lakh was purchased by Gopal Kumar Chetri, Vice-Principal of the college. The meeting was attended by current and retired teachers and non-teaching staff of the college, current and former presidents and members of the governing body, alumni, members of student union of the college and general public.
