GUWAHATI: Guwahati is getting ready to welcome its first Starbucks location, which will be on GS Road opposite Aayakar Bhawan

Customers will soon be able to visit and taste the famous coffee at a new location which is currently managed by the Tata group in India. The new Coffee Shop is currently being built and will open directly across from the Ayakar Bhawan.

This will be the first Starbucks location in India's northeast. As per sources there will be more outlets and places will be Guwahati Airport and at Brahmaputra Heritage centre in Panbazar.

Starbucks Corporation is a multinational coffeehouse corporation based in the United States. Starbucks has over 28000 locations in 75 regions.

Starbucks Corporation and TATA Global Beverages entered India as joint partners in October 2012, opening their first location in Mumbai. It was given the name "Tata Starbucks

Starbucks first opened its doors in 1971 and began growing outside of Seattle in 1987. Coffee connoisseurs were uncommon in the United States at the time, and espresso was only found in Italian establishments. Only a few individuals were aware of the distinction between espresso and coffee. People drank generic, mass-produced, and frequently badly brewed coffee in cafés, diners, and doughnut shops across the country. This was about to alter radically with the launch of the Starbucks brand across the country.

Starbucks has become a superior alternative to their grandparents' coffee for multiple generations of Americans. Food reviewers aren't crazy about Starbucks' coffee, claiming it has an off-putting flavor due to over-roasted beans – in fact, in blind tasting tests, most consumers preferred McDonald's – but it's a vast improvement over what was previously available. It's adequate, and for the most part, that's sufficient. Starbucks, on the other hand, outshines the competition with its extensive menu of food items and diverse coffee beverages that have the people raving.
