Gossaigaon administration intensifies COVID testing

GOSSAIGAON: A team lead by Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Priyankar Pratim Deka, Gossaigaon carried out Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) at Gossaigaon Railway Haat Station and Gossaigaon Market area for shopkeepers and staff.

As reported, 39 passengers were tested and three passengers were found positive from 05956 Up Delhi Mail. Similar exercise was carried out at Gossaigaon Market area wherein shopkeepers were RAT tested in cooperation with Gossaigaon Municipal Board.

Chaitali Dutta, ALRS Executive Officer, informed that all shopkeepers were instructed to go for COVID testing. As informed by SDO(C) Pallavi Sarkar, a total of 201 shopkeepers were tested and two tested COVID positive in the last two days wherein one patient was sent to Serfanguri Model Hospital.
