Grade IV employee of Gauhati Medical College and Hospital suspended

GUWAHATI: A Grade IV employee of the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Bimal Kumar Das has been suspended with immediate effect under further orders for misbehaviour and physical assault on a SSB personnel in uniform. The incident was recorded in the CCTV footage of the Medical Record Department, GMCH. In addition, an enquiry committee has been constituted with four officers of GMCH to probe the incident. The committee will submit the report within 48 hours to the GMCH authority.
