Guardian Minister Ashok Singhal visits flood-affected areas in Silchar

SILCHAR: Guardian Minister for Cachar, Ashok Singhal along with Cachar DC Keerthi Jalli, Chairman, Zilla Parishad, Amitabh Rai and other officials of various departments visited flood-affected areas under Katigorah assembly constituency. The minister Singhal also visited 380 No Mohanpur LP School, 715 Madua LP School, Mahadevpur, Jellalpore area, Balicherra BOP BSF Camp, Gumrah Public ME School, Bikrampur Golaknath High school and 1247 Hurauli LP School. He also visited flood-affected areas of Borkhola constituency.

During his visit Minister Singhal inspected the relief works and instructed the officials and staff engaged in conducting rescue operations and health officials to ensure healthcare facilities to the flood victims in the relief camps, stated a press release
