Guardian Minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass unveiled bust of Bhola Nath Choudhury in Dhubri

* Bhola Nath College celebrates platinum jubilee

DHUBRI: Minister of P&RD, Food and Civil Supplies, PHE and also Guardian Minister of Dhubri district, Ranjeet Kumar Dass unveiled the bust of Bhola Nath Choudhury in the premises of Bhola Nath College on the occasion of the plantanium jubilee of the college on Monday.

Dass, while speaking in the meeting held in the auditorium of the college, announced a financial grant of Rs 50 lakh to the college for building a memorable infrastructure to mark the celebration of plantanium jubilee. He also released the anthem of the college penned by renowned composer, Loknath Goswami and a book on the history of Bhola Nath College. Dass also assured to look into the demand of upgrading this institution to university level as and when the government considers to upgrade colleges to university in the State.

The programme was attended and addressed by former legislator, Ashwani Roy Sarker, legislator of South Salmara, Wazed Ali Choudhury, legislator of Mancachar, Aminul Islam, Dhubri Deputy Commissioner, Anbamathun MP and others.
