HAD Commissioner Manish Thakur visits Dima Hasao and reviews various departments

HAFLONG: HAD (Hills Area Development) Commissioner Manish Thakur reviewed the development works and activities of various departments under North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council at the Haflong Circuit House on Saturday.

The Commissioner arrived in Haflong on Saturday for the first leg of his maiden visit to Dima Hasao after taking the charge as the commissioner of HAD department. Various departments presented the current State of development works and challenges faced while implementation of works. Discussions were made in brief regarding functions and activities, new schemes undertaken and works in progress. As informed, the Commissioner will go on a field visit tomorrow. The review meeting was attended by NCHAC principal secretary Lalneizovi Nampui, NCHAC Secretaries Thai Tso Daulagupu, Rebecca Changsan, Joint Secretary Megonjoy Thaosen, and Chief Conservator of Forest M. Tungnung, among other Heads of the departments.
