HAD Minister Sum Ronghang visits Haflong to review COVID-19 preparedness

Haflong: To take stock of the situation with regard to preparedness against COVID-19, State Hills Area Department Minister Sum Ronghang visited Haflong on Sunday.

During his one-day visit to Haflong, Ronghang inspected the quarantine facilities at Haflong Civil Hospital wherein five ICUs and 25 isolation wards have been prepared. He reviewed the preparedness of the district to prevent the spread of COVID-19. He also held a meeting with the Chief Executive Member, N C Hills Autonomous Council, Debolal Gorlosa and Deputy Commissioner Amitabh Rajkhowa at the conference hall of Haflong Circuit House.

Talking to the media, the minister said every possible help was being extended to the needy and soon relief materials would also be distributed among the needy.
