Hailakandi Deputy Commissioner Megh Nidhi Dahal inspects vegetable & fish markets

HAILAKANDI: Hailakandi Deputy Commissioner Megh Nidhi Dahal made a visit to the Herbertganj bazar of Hailakandi town and inspected the ongoing infrastructure development work of vegetable and fish markets taken up under schemes of 14th and 15th Finance Commissions Award grant.

Accompanied by Executive Officer, Municipal Board, Hailakandi, Deepmala Goala, Deputy Commissioner, Dahal on Sunday interacted with the local shop keepers and other vegetable sellers of the market area and tried to know first hand the burning issues related to the fish market as well as vegetable market.

During the Deputy Commissioner's short visit, the senior officials and engineers of the Municipal Board were present at the spot. The Deputy Commissioner further directed to complete the work within a month's time as per plan and estimate.
