Harhi College at Govindapur to celebrate silver jubilee

LAKHIMPUR: Harhi College, a higher educational institution, located at Govindapur under the historic Harhi area under Dhakuakhana subdivision of Lakhimpur district has entered its 25 years this year. Established in 1998, the college has played a vital role in the intellectual development and in building of human resources in the subdivision for past years.

In order to celebrate the glorious completion of 25 years, the college authority has decided to celebrate the silver jubilee of the college with year-long programmes. In this connection, the college has initiated due preparation. As part of the initiatives, a public meeting will be held on May 21 at 11.30 in the auditorium of the college to constitute a strong silver jubilee celebration committee.

Dr Manash Jyoti Neog, the Principal of the College, has appealed to the people of Dhakuakhana, well-wishers, alumni of the college to attend the same on the designated day.
