Harisinga Higher Secondary School performs well in HS (Sc) exam

UDALGURI: Harisinga Higher Secondary School excelled in the HS (Science) exam, result of which was declared on Thursday. The jubilant Principal, Swarna Basumatari said that all 42 students in the Science stream passed the exam. While five secured first division, 34 got second division and three got third division. In the Arts stream also the school performed well, ensuring a pass percentage of 85 per cent.

The overall pass percentage of Udalguri district in Arts stream is 74.20 per cent. Out of 5,190 students, 491 secured first division, 1,223 got second division and 2,137 passed in third division.

In the Commerce stream, out of 255 students, 42 secured first division, 70 got second division and 110 passed in third division. The total pass percentage is 87.60 per cent.

In the Science stream, out of 619 students, 207 secured first division, 260 got second division and three passed in third division. The total pass percentage is 85.46 per cent.
