Health Minister Keshab Mahanta, Ajanta Neog review functioning of various departments

GOLAGHAT: Golaghat district Guardian Minister and State Health Minister Keshab Mahanta and State Finance Minister Ajanta Neog reviewed the functioning of various departments of Golaghat district in a meeting held at the Deputy Commissioner's office conference hall on Tuesday.

The two ministers reviewed various issues like Jal Jeevan Abhiyan, vaccination drive of teens, immunization drive, housing status under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Uraban), collection of revenue of departments like Taxes, Excise, Transport.

At the meeting, the Guardian Minister assured all assistance to solve the problems faced by the officials in the successful implementation of the Union Government's flag-bearing scheme Jal Jeevan Abhiyan. He specifically directed the planning to be put in place to make the COVID vaccination campaign successful for teenagers between the ages of 15 and 18 years. He directed that the campaign should be carried out in 40-50 schools daily to reach the target by January 9.

Finance Minister Ajanta Neog said that the officials should maintain good relations with people so that people can meet them if they need any help. She said that successful implementation of all development works will be possible only if government officials have the will. She urged everyone to work with responsibility so that Golaghat district can reach the top the list within the State in the area of good governance.

Deputy Commissioner Mrigesh Narayan Baruah, SDO Bokakhat and Dhanshiri subdivisions and officials of various departments were present at the meeting.
