Health Minister Keshab Mahanta inspects construction of medical college

MORIGAON: Guardian Minister and State Health and Family Welfare Minister Keshab Mahanta on Thursday inspected the ongoing construction of Baghara Medical College and Hospital in the Morigaon district.

During the inspection he was accompanied by Devasish Sharma, Deputy Commissioner of Morigaon, Hemanta Kr Das, Morigaon Superintendent of Police and other officials. The minister directed the PWD (Building) officials to expedite the work so that the medical college and hospital can be made functional as soon as possible. The Baghara Medical College and Hospital is a much-awaited project in the region and will provide necessary healthcare facilities to the people.

After the inspection, the minister proceeded to inspect the erosion-affected areas of Balidunga under Bhuragaon Revenue Circle.
