Health Minister Keshab Mahanta Reviews COVID Situation in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: State Health Minister Keshab Mahanta visited Swahid Kushal Konwar Civil Hospital, Golaghat on Thursday.

Keshab Mahanta took stock of the COVID situation, services and management in order to fight against COVID-19. Talking to media, Mahanta said that the government was ready to face any situation. Sufficient fund was available for tackling the COVID-19 pandemic.

He added that the government had taken steps for children. Children's wards, especially for children infected by COVID-19, would be increased in every government hospital. Further, he said that the government had already paid in advance for purchase of COVID vaccine. Later, he reviewed the overall situation of Golaghat district in the Deputy Commissioner's office conference hall with health officials.
