Health Minister Keshab Mahanta visits construction site of cancer hospital

DEMOW: State Health Minister Keshab Mahanta visited the construction site of the Cancer Hospital which will be constructed in Demow of Sivasagar district on Thursday. The Assam Government, with the help of Tata Trust, will construct the cancer hospitals in Assam.

The cancer hospitals will provide modern and affordable medical services in Assam. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually lay the foundation stone for seven cancer hospitals from Dibrugarh on April 28.

During the Health Minister's visit, he was accompanied by Megh Nidhi Dahal, Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar district, Additional Deputy (Health), and District Joint Health Care Organizer.
