GOLAGHAT: In the third evaluation cycle of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Hemoprova Borbora Girls' College, Golaghat has been awarded 'A' Grade with 3.20 C. G. P. A.

On June 7 and June 8, the NAAC Peer Team visited and assessed the college based on the Self Study Report submitted earlier this year. In addition to overseeing the academic and related aspects of the college, the members of the Peer Team, Prof. Dharmarajan PK, Professor Farheen Akhter Pandit, and Dr. Sangeeta Ghate also commended the social responsibility and commitments of the college. They also lauded the financial contribution made by the teachers for the betterment of the college and commented that such an initiative was unique in their experience. They considered this step to be exemplary.

Hemoprova Borbora Girls' College, situated in a rural area, has made great strides in the field of women's education and women's empowerment in addition to establishing itself as a premier institution in the field of education and culture. After the declaration of the NAAC grade, a general atmosphere of overwhelming joy prevailed in the college.

The Principal of the college, Dr Bulbuli Barua and the Coordinator of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Dr Palash Handique thanked the Assistant Coordinators of IQAC Dr. Dibyajyoti Bora and Monjit Gohain, the president of the governing body, Prodip Saikia, all the employees of the college, the alumni association, students, guardians and well-wishers of the college for their relentless support in the process of getting accredited at such a high status and wished for their continued support for the overall development of the college in the coming times also.
