DIBRUGARH: A high-level meeting was held at the Deputy Commissioner's office, Dibrugarh on Thursday in connection with the preparation for the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Dibrugarh on April 28.
Informing media persons, State power minister Bimal Bora said, "The meeting was organized in connection with the preparation of the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Dibrugarh to inaugurate the cancer care hospital in Dibrugarh and other districts."
Agricultural Minister Atul Bora, Labour Minister Sanjay Kishan along with MLAs Prashanta Phukan, Chakradhar Gogoi, Punakon Baruah and other dignitaries were present in the meeting. Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police of five districts, Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Dhemaji, Sivasagar and Charaideo are also participating in this meeting.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the cancer hospital at Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh built under Assam Cancer Care Foundation (ACCF)- a joint initiative of the Assam government and Tata Trusts on April 28.
