Himanta Biswa Sarma laid foundation stone of 20 roads under Sorbhog Constituency

BARPETA: State Finance Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday laid the foundation stone of 20 roads under Sarbhog constituency and stated that now Assam was progressing.

"There is development and progress everywhere during the tenure of the BJP government," he said. A bike rally was also taken out where about 3,000 people took part. Later on, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma addressed a gathering at Doul Mandir at Barapeta. In the meeting, he stated that there was highest progress and development in Assam during the BJP government. "The rapid development will change the scenario of Assam," said Sarma. In this meeting, Housefed chairman Ranjit Das and other BJP leaders were present.
